Frightening. One of my former co-workers (a science teacher) teaches the students why global warming does not exist. That is frightening as well.

Yeah, the skeptics out there aside, we are making progress on the front of people knowing that it is, according to the consensus of the scientific community, a real phenomenon with which we need to deal. The major hurdle here is people thinking that we should be diligent in our cuts to carbon emissions. We need drastic cuts to make a major difference and we need to make them sooner rather than later.
